Our brand story begins with a sincere love and infinite care for our furry companions, along with a profound understanding of the strong bonds between pets and human beings.

A beginning of the journey with a dog called Elmo: The Elmopet brand story begins from a story between our founder Julie (Hao) Wang and her lovely dog Elmo. Julie is an avid pet lover and finally got a really lovely dog called Elmo from her parents when she celebrated her 15-year-old birthday party. However, after she left her hometown at the age of 18 to go for college study, she couldn't bring the dog together with her. After college life, Julie got a scholarship from an European graduate school so she went abroad right after getting her university degree. Julie's parents also had very busy working schedule during those years so Elmo was always kept alone at home. Later when Julie went back to China after her study in Europe, Elmo just passed away. Julie felt really really regret that she didn't spend enough time with Elmo and Elmo's life could have been better if there had been more toys around him and more companionship from human beings. Elmo was an indispensable part of the family and the whole family was really really sad when it passed away.

As Julie's passion for pets are so strong, during recent years she first co-invested with a close friend in a pet product & pet service store in Shanghai called "Elmo Pet" (艾萌宠物店）. Secondly she founded this on-line retail boutique store www.elmopet.com to choose the pet products with the highest quality standard and the biggest fun to provide to American and European pet lovers.  Our well-chosen pet products not only meet the daily needs of pets but also incorporate the latest technology and design to offer a more convenient and enjoyable experience for pet owners.
